I love this picture, Robert. Excellent job! The top frond seems to mimic the shape of the leaves below. I also could see Dorinda's rhythmic feel of the photo that the leaves provide. Including the snow (?) at the bottom seems to me to add balance to the image. Without it, the grass seems to want to fall over. |

You certainly have the flower images down pat. This one is really beautiful. I also very much like the background -- the color works very well and provides enough detail to add interest to the flower photo. I did not find focusing issues to be offputting here. |

I agree with Judy that the 50 works just fine here. The dog is very much in focus where it counts. Shooting the bright snow and dark subject is almost impossible to get exposed just right. I also very much like Judy's idea of making this a head portrait rather than a full body presentation. Her rendition is very compelling to my eye. |

I really don't have more to offer on this one. You do have a great eye for the sunrise. The colors are really nice. You could concentrate on capturing some nice birds in flight and add them to this lovely background in post processing. |

Very nice eye lead in, Dorenda. Yep, the eye is lead to the end of the road and? I had the same trouble this month -- no subject. |
