Your image is quite powerful, Leonid! The focus and the tone of the composition are all really first rate. I am a bit confused to see the items in the foreground dwarfed by the raindrops, although the pane provides an excellent background to the composition. An enlarged lantern would provide some balance to the large urn on the right hand side. Another way of presenting this collection might be to group the tea related items (the glasses and the teapot and urn separately from the plates and the lantern. As the flower arrangers have tried to teach us, clusters of items are generally more interesting than rows of them. Keep up the fantasies! I think you're finding that we all really love them! |

You are to be applauded for finding this quite arresting subject! I also like the monochrome treatment you have decided to give it. For my eyes, I would have preferred seeing it a little softer, not so sharp to the point of being somewhat pixelated. Also, the background has some highlighted edges that would be better subdued a bit. |

A striking image under the circumstances! Under different circumstances I suspect you would have shot with a smaller aperture to bring into sharper focus the pedal of the flower. But that's not to diminish the overall high impact of the picture. Very, very nice, Judy. |

Oh I like this one, Jessica! I particularly like the remote feeling that it evokes. Some of the sky and the right hand side might be cropped but not so much as to remove the remote feeling. The foreground also might benefit from a little post sharpening. But overall, a very nice job! |

Nicely done background image, Tom. As Dorinda has noted, it is a lovely background in search of a subject. (bring back the birds!) |

Yes,I agree that the original, sharper image is the preferred one. I like it pretty much as you have captured it and I have no improvement changes to offer. |
