Excellent shot! I love the composition and the drama conveyed by the textures of the sky and sail. If anything, I might lighten the shoreline trees to bring out some of the texture there which is hidden by darkness. |

I like the sharpness of the overall picture, Robert. The colors are great and the combination of the yellow-orange and the purple really work for me. I also like the bottom-up perspective you have here. The perspective is a different one from the usual top down shots of tulip beds - the gain from the addition of the sky and flowering tree is a worthwhile trade-off. |

Another of your beautiful shots of these birds, Judy. I agree with Dorinda that your initial submission is the better one. The second one ended up with a halo that detracts slightly from the overall Impression I get. |

I love the eye guiding role that the needles play in funneling the eye to the cones. I think Judy's suggested changes improves the overall impact of the picture. |

Great idea, Dorinda. Insomuch as the staples more nearly mimic the building look than do the screws, I would use more of the staples to get a skyline effect. |
