Thank you so much, Judy for your work in showing me the way. I often think everything is sharply focused only to realize later that it is not. This is dramatically shown by your improved version of the insect compared to mine! |

I like your original submission best. The parts that have been suggested be omitted seem to me to fit nicely with the other part of the composition. |

I have nothing to add about this quite splendid photograph. |

The increased contrast in b&w has advantages, but it also sharpens the shadows which somewhat detracts from the main subject.in my view.

Very nice, Tom. I agree that the suggested changes enhance the image. |

I like this composition very much. I think your tinting is successful in creating a somewhat surreal look that I like. The blurred figure on the right is a bit of a distraction but could be cloned out without much trouble. I haven't made up my mind about the other figure more in the foreground: it adds life to the image but distracts somewhat from the "other world" feel. I read about dealing with these unwanted figures by taking another shot after the distraction leaves or moves and then combining the layers in Photoshop. I have tried it and it seems to work. |

I agree with the changes and I like the vignette idea, but perhaps a darker comp color. |
