Macie will love this memory and thank you for being there to take it! I have nothing to add to it. |

Great shot, Leonid. I love the central subject, beautifully framed by the branches of the trees. I felt, as others have commented, on the extraneous foliage on the left of the frame and the rock wall and roof line below. Cropped at the "V" of the left hand tree and the upper line of the rock wall and including the illuminated green foliage below the moon would establish a foreground for an excellent photograph. |

Oh, Robert, you have nailed it!! This is the image I first imagined when I first studied your image. It retains and greatly enhances the mystery that first caught my eye with your photograph, the breath of tone from dark to light, the emphasis on the path to ?. Outstanding photograph, Robert! Congrats.

Your son will treasure this shot, so make sure it shows him to best advantage. The cropping suggested above will bring him into sharper focus. This is a shot that is definitely worth working on. Good job, Jessica! |

Excellent focus stacking! The pencil collection commands attention: the sharpness of the images, the angle of presentation and the framing of the collection. The background color is also very well chosen and adds to the overall feeling of unity. Only the two white pencils in the rear seem out of step in being a bit out focus. |

I really like this image, particularly the mystery aspect - where is this path lwadng? Another way of dealing with the problems noted by others would be to turn the image into a night scene: reducing the overall exposure and using local lighting from the lantern to both lighten the stones and some of the foliage. It would give you more control over what gets subdued overall. |
