I find your post processing to have successfully milked all that is interesting to me in this image. I am not saying that the image isn't interesting, only that the background was not really an issue with my vision of the subject: it is sufficiently contrasted with the dark background not to be distracting. |

Great shot, Tom. Your wading bird shots have been just great and this one is no exception. I love the sharpness of the image and the timing of the capture - both yours and his! Make no changes! |

You could not ask for a better color import for your landscape than the one your friend provided! Great way to present this spectacular, though somewhat drab, landscape. Great shot and GREAT THINKING! |

I like this shot, Jessica. If anything, it didn't go quite far enough, in my view. Further cropping to nearly an all-green image would allow the viewer to focus on the subject in a natural environment. Boy, you are getting some milage out of this animal! |
