I love the sharp image against the beautiful blue sky background and the nest setting. Excellent job with these birds. I have photographed and observed wood storks and I was struck by the shiny, almost sequin-like skin on the neck and face of the birds whereas my recollection was that the skin was dull and leather-like. Is Dorinda's read on the skin correct? |

I agree with Robert's impressions of the devastation impression of natural and man made objects, But, to me, this is more of a journalistic image - the sort your would see on the front page of the local newspaper. So, the more that is sharply in focus, the more information conveyed, the better. The photo is a real attention grabber! |

Your excellent eye for background makes this shot for me. The few "ornaments" shot with the white background show the dramatic difference w the black. My only suggestion would be to take out the chopped off topmost ornament. Excellent job, Robert! |
