As usual, Leonid, you bring us a beautiful travelogue. I agree with Robert's suggested masking. Many ways to do this. A luminescent mask would likely work here enableing brightening to be selectively applied to the dark areas on the LH side |

Interesting comment, Leonid. If a reflection, how out of focus? I am not seeing your vision here. I do see that this image could be presented in a number of ways, including a blurred version, or partially so. |

Nice thinking on this image, Jessica! This has simplicity going for it, but perhaps it is too simplistic. I am with Dale on this one. In my opinion, the image lacks the tonal range to make it interesting. Can you go back to the original image and play around with it? I would love to see a future redition of this intrtguing photo. |

Nice job getting the sun star, Dale. I guess the f14 was small enough to capture it. It is the centerpiece for me. There is a lot competing for attention here. I think Robert's suggested change helps me focus on that star. |

I love the dazzling display of color. The vessel on the right beautifully reflects the red of the main subject and provides complementing blues, browns and greens. The reflective glass "doubles down" the entire image. I can't think of other than a joyous holiday. |

Very nice composition, Dorinda. The subject seeds a little out of focus, but the focus does not seem that important to this image. |
