30 Oct 17 Comment Judy, you have a beautiful photograph from a difficult subject. I especially like the definition and the detail here. Also the crisp focus. You have obviously mastered the problems I have had with white flowers and also the red ones: how to achieve definition in the petals. My white petal images tend to blend together, resisting changes in lighting, focus and processing undertaken to address the problem. I agree with the others re the cropping although Robert's version clipped some of the flower. Oct 28th
30 Oct 17 Comment Great action shot, Dale! You seem to have obtained a very wide dof given the setup. The dog and woman are nicely in focus, particularly the dog's eyes. I don't find the backgrounds at all distracting insomuch as it is darker and blurred. If anything, I would like to see the deep shadows around the woman's eyes lightened a bit. Oct 12th
30 Oct 17 Comment Very beautiful cloud formation appropriately named. Including the foreground as you did provides the depth that I often find missing in photographs where the clouds are the subject. Very, very nice landscape photograph. Oct 12th
30 Oct 17 Comment Its a beautiful shot, Jessica. The colors really pop out against the darkened water. I would like to see a bit more green in the background, or some of the background cropped. Also, in my experience, shooting macro hand held makes getting the focus sharp very difficult. Oct 12th

I like the composition, with just enough showing of the bumpers of the larger boat to help us interpret the whole scene. The red cooler in the boat provides, for me, the extra boost to make it a really excellent photograph. Oct 12th
30 Oct 17 Comment Congratulations, Leonid, on being alert to capture this image! Like the way the road and the rainbow come together at the bend in the road, pointing the way to the pot of gold. I have no suggestions for improvement. The rainbow colors are vivid and stand out wonderfully against the browns of the fields and roadway. Oct 12th
