This is a beautiful image, deftly captured. I agree with Judy that the fog makes the picture. To my eye, it is really two images, each beautiful, but at the same time each distracts from the other. I would try completing the separation and splitting the picture down the middle. |

I like the angles and wheel-arc in this image. But, the bicycle, as it stands, doesn't offer much to me of interest. I might crop to leave only the angles of the partial frame, the bike rack and the wheel. Rotating the image after trimming to the simplest lines, and perhaps adding color, could make a very interesting study. |

Absolutely beautiful image, Dale, worth all the work in putting it together. I feel a little disconnect between the above-horizon sky and the foreground. One thought: you could duplicate the layer, invert it, and mask some of the water to allow the star reflection to show through on the water, tying the sky to the foreground. |

The bell is beautiful, Judy. The background is sufficiently different from the bell that for my eyes, it is not distracting. What accounts for the different map-like colors? Coats of paint?
How did you think the score changed the image? Was it in black? |

I agrees with Judy's suggested change. The bright grass beneath the chair straps is too much competition for the viewer's attention. The changing blue shades and the pattern of water droplets provide sufficient interest in my view. |

I like the "reaching out" motif better than the 'reaching up" that Robert suggests probably because it is less familiar. It would be better if more of the stamen were in focus as the ones in focus constitute such a small fraction of the image. Maybe some extensive cropping to the ones most clearly focused would make it more attrative. |
