Well, I love how his 'close up' emphasizes his various markings, stature and fierceness. Great lighting, clarity and pose to show off such a remarkable creature! Not sure how I would react if one fell out of a tree in my vicinity but glad they are not permanently injured in the fall! |

I think I like your raspberries better than the ones I use for my breakfast smoothies. Less potential for bears in my local Bashas grocery though! Love the macro of this rather unassuming fruit. The DOF is perfect as I feel it focuses the attention to the most important part! The fruit! Great color and crop! Thanks for sharing! |

This is definitely one of the more interesting parts of the much larger 'whole'. I definitely would have cropped more on the right as Carole has demonstrated above and lightened as well to highlight the aged metal and patterns. When out driving in more rural areas (even in the city!) you will see large seemingly abandoned items like this and now I feel like I may have to stop and take a much 'closer' look. Thanks for the idea!! |

My first instinct with the original photo would have been to flip this, so thank you for that! Great use of crop as well. I love the conversion to B&W and the post editing as it made what looks like a generic picture of a toy? model car? and gave it depth, drama and interest. |

My first thought when I saw this was why place the fire extinguisher directly on the one item most likely to burn in this photo? I digress. I like this months topic as it makes me wonder how noticeable the tool? box, and fire extinguisher, really are when viewing the car as a whole? I may have not even given it a passing glance if there were pops of other colors elsewhere on the vehicle. This is definitely an intriguing concept and photo. Thanks for sharing. |
