I like Carole's suggestion with lightning the shadows to emphasize the colors in the foliage, it made the whole photo pop. When I first read the blurb I had to laugh at the thought of a lighthouse in a state that does not have a coastline border. Good image for the month! |

Nice clock image. It is a bit contrasty and I would have removed the tree on the far right as Barbara showcased. The wall on the left bothers me a bit so I would have darkened or cropped it a bit further on that side as well. Overall nice representation of Tall! |

Sorry Carole...I am going to have to agree with the masses. I would have cropped it down or gone vertical to emphasize the 'height' of the monument. I find the trees on the left somewhat distracting. Great clouds, color and crispness. |

Well now, this was unexpected. Living in the southwest palm trees grow like weeds. Wyoming on the other hand... I too, would have had to stop for this. Great catch! I also love how the disturbed earth at the base of the 'trees' makes it seem like they were just planted. Great marketing for the gas station and great subject matter for photogs. Great photo! |
