I agree with the above about the crop and I also wish I knew what they were saying. Perhaps debating who would have to handle any fish they caught? I wish the plant to the right was not covering the girl so much and I would have liked to see facial expression. Perhaps a bit more foreground to highlight a 'path' but overall a refreshing image. Thank you. |

Red shirts do come in handy in certain photographic instances, this one included! I agree with Carole's crop making the path more central to the photo at large and removing the distraction of the roof at the top. Living in the desert you tend to forget to really appreciate the lush greenery of other places such as this. Thanks for sharing. |

Before I read your explanation I assumed it was a tire track of some sort that water took advantage to travel after a rain. Then I wanted to know which direction the alligator was headed... hopefully away! I like the composition of the path of water from top to bottom and I agree with leaving some photos to their reality. Very interesting photo. |

Someone has wandered off the path it seems... I love 'spur of the moment' shots, especially when they involve wild animals sharing the environment. You have to make due with whatever your camera is set at and hope for the best. I probably would have cropped it a bit so the deer is not so bullseye in the frame but then again sometimes 'real'scenes are better left untouched. Good catch. |

I love these types of images but then again its hard to take a bad picture in our nation's capital, especially of the Washington monument. And, yes it would make a good 'reflection' photo with a bit of PS magic! Speaking of which, I do find my eyes drawn to the 3 folks at center (anybody notice they are garbed in Red, White and Blue?) which leads me away from the topic at hand. I probably would have removed them just for the sake of the distraction they cause but then again they do provide a sort of 'inside joke'. Nice photo all around. Thanks! |
