Very pleasing warm photo and nice water surface. It is always difficult to decide what at level you intervene to make the photo nicer and still keep its documentary character. In this case e.g. you did not want to clone out the man-made parts (building, road) but you did change the color palette, especially the color of the sky. To me this color shift added a lot. |

Lou, it is a great picture. I agree with Pete, I would cut all the upper part with the blue and white sky. Then it would increase the misterious, foggy feeling. Nice colors of the trees, we have such a palette here only in Autumn. |

Very nice photo, very nice waterfall, I wish I visited it last September, but I put it now on my list. Good choice turning it to b&w. I give a try for many of my pictures, as it so handy in LR, just one button and then you can decide whether to continue or back in color.
I am also afraid to go close to water surface with my drone, I think this is the reason of loosing my first Spark. Went too close to the sea level and never came back. The other possibility is that a shark has eaten it. |

Drema, the curve line of the trees makes the image. Indeed it is almost monochromatic, did you try to convert it in fully b&w or sepia? Looking at the sky I wonder whether you need a sky at all? Before reading your post I didn't ovserve the sky. When reading that this is a golf course I thought we have to find on the image 3 golf balls in the snow :)
I like the image. |
