Apparently this was the month of the lighthouses. It is indeed a postcardish type of photo with correct exposure, color, etc. The composition is also fine, maybe I would try to get out a bit the house from the center, eventually to the left. |

Wow, that's indeed a huge wave, one can feel its power. The trees and the lighthouse help you understand the size of the waves. You might negotiate with the owner of the lighthouse to paint it, preferably with red :) |

Very nice composition with a lot of diagonal lines driving your eyes. Also great post processing, the final is much nicer than the original. Some people don't like "photoshopping", but I would have deleted the person with the red pants and maybe also the white spot on the grass. |

You are right, Ian, the problem was that we could not go where we wanted because there still were vulcanic activities. Maybe with a drone, but that time I did not have one. |

I like the most in this image the graduated unsharpness of the water. What a difference between the water in the back which is almost clear and in the foreground. It shows the dynamics. Good shot. |

I was also on the Baikal last February and beginning of March. Maybe we even saw each other. Nice place and indeed a nice image. I like taking sunrises and sunsets, but so far I am not happy even with HDR-s, there is too much difference between the sun and all other parts of the image. I plan to try the graduated ND filters. |

This is a good example of how simple landscapes can be so pleasing. It was a good idea to include the log, and I agree with Matt, I would have tried to smoothen the sea a bit. The light is also nice, you were lucky, I heard that the weather in Iceland is always rainy. |
