You are right, Dave. Since the picture was taken with a wide-angle (15 mm I think), there are all kind of distorsions one tries to compensate. Now the stalactites are relatively verticals but indeed, the horizon line is not. I will play a bit more, thanks for calling my attention. |

Debbie, I like more the one called "original". I don't know why, it gives me somehow more depth. I would have worked on that, maybe dramatized the sky, eventually even cutting part of it.
The one you selected, is more "landscapeish". It has a small buleish something left bottom, that is not needed. The half tree is a question mark for me.
At the end of the day, both are nice ones. |

Unique perspective. I also noticed the small reflection of the color which makes more interesting the foreground. |

How lucky you were to have that hole on the clouds. To me it looks like a cover photo for the Bible (or other religious book) :)
I still miss something more interesting in the foreground, maybe an interesting rock shape or higher waves, but anyhow the focus in on the sky. |

The composition and the sand dunes are really well captured. The highlights in the left could be slightly reduced but I am fine with how they are. To me the sky is an issue. The sunshine on the dunes and their color suggests happyness, while the grey sky sadness. If you changed the original color anyhow, did you try with different other colors? Like red-oranges typical for sunset, or dark blue, or any other? |

Impressive. Was the moon so big, or you "helped" a bit its size? I also like that it is not full moon, most people want to take only full moon photos. |

I think the exposure time you have chosen is ideal, since the waves are soft but the clouds still very sharp. Well, maybe they did not move at all. I am a big fan of clouds and for a long time I am considering to make a collection of cloud photos. I see here a an alligator (well, it's Florida) biting something. |

Thanks Sherry. For a while I call my home city Budapest, Hungary. Hence, I live at 7300 km from Baikal lake :) I went there in March, just before the lockdown with a small photo group. Believe me, it pays off! |
