Fantastic colors. I wanted to tell that for me the tree branches in the left are not disturbing. But when I compared with the cropped version I realized that without branches is really better. Amazing place, hopefully one day I will get there as well. |

Excellent! The combination of perfect clear ice and smooth water is outstanding. It surprizes me that you used not even too long times. I would have guessed this is made with 4-5 seconds. The flow of the water should be high. |

Very nice! It looks a bit frightening, coming tons of ice towards you. Sharpness, DOF, everything fine. The only thing you might think about is to get rid of the white, overexposed strip in the left upper corner. |

Great capture, great post-processing. Especially the clouds are fantastic. To be honest, the horizon line a bit bothers me. I tried an alternative composition but you are right, this is not the "true" Death Valley. |

Great shot, David! The composition is amazing. I use PhotoPills app to plan for night shots. One can easily calculate when the Moon will be in a particular place. But what is more difficult is to find the right ISO,t and f stop to suit both the moon and the landscape. Often, I can solve this only by taking 2 photos with 2 different settings, then combining them. |

Really beautiful. Nothing to add to such a comprehensive discussion! The clouds and the rocks make the image. Since the photo is about sunrise, I would have preferred to have a bit of sunshine (just a bit) on the rocks. Maybe simply lighten it in the right? |

Thanks Sherry. We were in the zone of Olkhon Island which is an island in the summer but now one can drive on the ice, there is quite a traffic on the frozen lake. Temperature is around -22 to -28 C. Surprizingly, the batteries lasted quite a long time both the camera and the drone batteries. Amazing world. |
