I agree with Ian, it is almost impossible to take a good picture of Machu Picchu, as it is always full of tourists. You were lucky having in the rain only a few of them and they had also nice red cloths. The clouds give the athmosphere, yet I had a more or less sunny day when I was there and in sunshine it is also nice.
Years ago I invented (but never made it) a hat somehow combined with an umbrella that could protect your head and your camera in rainy days but also leaving free both your hands. Once I will make it! |

It is a wow-photo indeed. I've never been to Hong Kong but now I put it on my list. B&W was a very good choice. I am big fan of puzzles, I can imagine a 2000 pieces puzzle from this image, it would take months to put it together :) |

Beautiful! I wonder why the image is so large? Let's take 40 mb per image, 5x40 = 200 mb, far from 1.2 gb. Of course, it is not simply adding up, but still almost incredible. I stich together images either in Lightroom, or in Photoshop, surprisingly, the LR does a better job. |

The left cloud is like a "father-lamb" talking to his son - the right cloud. Hope none of you are psychiatrists :)
It is indeed a very equilibrated photo. I am lazy from time to time to take out my heavy gear from the backpack and when I see something nice, take a photo with the camera. And then relize that it is as good as photos taken with expensive DSLR-s. |

Thanks guys for comments and suggestions. Yes, I always start with cropping in different ways and I admit that the result is not necessary the best one. |
