Outstanding! The blurry wings have to be as such. Otherwise I tried to freeze bugs wing motion and 1/1600 s was still insufficient. The "pollen bag" on his foot adds a lot. f/9 prooved to be enough to have an all-body sharpness and yet the background (a petal?) to be blurry. |

Nice subject, nice composition. I also like the selective plane of focus. I also like the texture of the needle. I wonder whether the choice of a map as background is not "too obvious"? To me it is also a bit of distraction, as obviously the compass is the main subject. Maybe a more homogenous, dar background? |

The flowers are incredibly beautiful. The whole color palette is pleasing including the background. I personally don't like the texture of the background. The whole photo is so natural, and the texture makes it a bit artifical. |

Very original subject. I personally like the halo effect. I assume it is artificial, coming from a filter but still it fits with the bulb. It's a pity we cannot see the upper part. |
