65 Apr 19 Comment Very original. In fact I also wanted to take pictures of my comb, or toothbrush, but they would have not looked so nice. Cleaning, like Charlie did, helps a lot. The only thing I would have tried is to have a not so white background. Apr 13th
65 Apr 19 Comment Excellent choise of subject and composition really artistic. I like the reflections and to me the DOF is also fine. If the flowers on the saucer would be more sharp I would even unsharp them to this level. Apr 13th
65 Apr 19 Comment I like the safety pin, especially that I can see the texture of the "head", with the scratches. I am also fine with the level of unsharpness in the background. However the unsharpness of the foreground is too much for me. Apr 13th
65 Apr 19 Comment I agree with Charlie, the background is much too busy. Not even the color gives the needed contrast. Otherwise the cheerios are nice and have an interesting texture. Apr 13th

What I most like is the play of lights and shadows. Thre composition is also unusual and interesting.
As concerns the background, I wonder whether a clean, uniform white background wouldn't be better? To me it is a bit noisy, distracting the attention. Very nice photo.		 Apr 13th
