Great image of a butterfly. I cannot judge whether the b&w conversion is a good choice or not since I haven't seen the original one. In general, from a butterfly I expect to be colourful by definition but showing the details somehow here I do not miss the colors. |

Impressive photo! We expect a sunflower to be perfect, to show us happiness, something nice, to reflect the positive feeling coming from the sun - how the famous impressionist painters used to show us. It is an original idea to show the decay through a sunflower. |

Hi George and welcome!
I like tulips and they are very good subject for photographers. I like the angle you took this picture and I would crop out the whole sky. Also, in order to have a "real" macro shot, I would rather work on one of the flowers in the foreground, perhaps the red one is the nicest. |

Very nice photo, both the colors and the composition are how they should be. I agree with Charles, I miss the small part of the top of the wing cropped. It is also interesting how the black parts penetrate into the orange part. Thanks for showing us. |
