Thanks, Elaine! It's funny, most of you mention that the background color is too close to the slug color. This is because it is the back part of the slug :) |

Wow, Angela! The stacking is only one aspect - actually very well achieved. But the composition and color palette are also very artistic. The blur on the top petal is not a problem for me because it shows the subject is 3D. Sometimes when perfectly sharp crossover the whole image, it looks like a single plain while a well-placed blur even helps - like in this case. |

The lower half of the image is sharp. Unfortunately you cannot crop it well, as you would decompose it, unless you crop it and stay only with the pendant. In general I don't like the extension tubes, they decrease a lot the depth of field. I like the natural light and the lines and curves of the wire. |

Great composition! The beads are separated but the shadows interfere. It is a performance to arrange so small beads - but this is obvious only by reading your description. Otherwise it could be a set of big objects. Maybe a small object from real life like a matchstick or similar - which does not interfere with the composition would help realize the real size of the beads. clarity and sharpness are really perfect. |

Well, I cannot advise you on focus stacking as I am learning it as well. My first impression was you composed a heart shape :) The form of the pea is so interesting, have you thought to use only 2-3 of them, going closer to concentrate on the shape? |

Wlcome Elaine!
Absolutely interesting. I like the many planes and many colors. Interesting how the texture of the two big white planes differ. Indeed, a smoother background would have been better. It is worth playing with Lightroom (HSL panel, clarity, dehaze) to see how to achieve more impact. |
