65 Apr 18 Comment Even before I read Mary's coments, I wanted to suggest to crop the image because the head and eyes are not so sharp. I would try to crop even more, since the wings are the strong part of the image. I assume (you did not give the settings) you cut out this from a much larger image, this is why we have more noise here.

To me the most impressive in this photo is the texture of the flower. So soft and vivid, you feel the temptation to touch the picture.		 Apr 21st
65 Apr 18 Comment Great shot. Composition, lights, colors, everything in place. I personally do not have a problem with the missing space around the edges. To me it suggestes that there are a lot more nuts and bolts around, we see only a small part of a large space. Apr 21st
65 Apr 18 Comment Very original! To me the "eye problem" is not so important as it is not the eye the central element, but the structure, the texture of the skin. In this respect, I would try to increase the contrast, to have an even more dramatic structure. Apr 21st
