42 Jan 18 Comment I also try to convert my diapositive slides. I have about 3000 made in the 1975-1995 period. Unfortunately I did not find yet the best conversion method, although from time to time I buy gear claimed the best for conversion. Also, after the conversion there is a need of a huge post-processing work. However, the originals are loosing color, mould attacks, new scratches appear each time. Well... Jan 25th
42 Jan 18 Comment The composition is fine. Also the color contrast between yellow and blue is ok. I would flip it horizontally to change left-right, yet I can't explain why. There is a lot to work on luminosity, contrast, sharpness. Jan 25th
42 Jan 18 Comment Well-captured faces. They cook guinea pigs, I saw making this as street-food in Ecuador and also in Peru, but I had one as a pet for 9 years so I could not even think of eating this kind of food. Jan 25th
42 Jan 18 Comment Technically a good photo. Horizons separator is also in the right place. What I miss is more dynamism. A small object on the shore or in the water, or bird in the sky. The tower could take this role but it is too far and small. Jan 25th
42 Jan 18 Comment Very good composition. It looks on his face that he is somehow trying to escape from the camera. The shadow makes interesting the photo. The yellow post and sign could be removed with a lot of work in Photoshop, cloning the other shoe, etc., but than it would loose the photojournalism element. Jan 25th

65 Jan 18 Comment It is surprizing that January becomes the month for butterfly photos in our group. Well captured, good composition. I always admire their "tongue". Its eye(?) looks like a hexagon, or better said like the chemical formula of benzene. It looks like f/9 might be not enough to offer an ideal DOF, but still it is ok to me. Jan 25th
65 Jan 18 Comment Definitely looks like a piece of cloth! It is a picture biology books should buy from you. Technical side is much more strong than the artistic one. I am sure the butterflies in my garden will have a hard time this spring :) Jan 25th
65 Jan 18 Comment Very artistic still life! I also saw the cityscape picture made of screws and was thinking to make something similar.
Technically it is absolutely fine. Maybe slightly darker than I would have made it. Good job!		 Jan 25th
