Welcome Glenda, very nice photo! I agree that the greenish leaves on the left bottom corner should be cut out somehow. PS offers tons of techniques to do this. To me everything else it is in place. |

Excellent! To me the smile is the best. Colors, composition, everything is fine, but the smile is the real value! |

Excellent start for a DSLR! I wonder why the sun looks to me slightly distorted? I have the same question like Glenda, how it could look if one swan crossed the sun reflection? Keep on! |

Great photo! In addition to the face expression, I like most the contrast between the red cloths and green background. |

Welcome Sohel! You showed us a very nice introduction picture, I like the Celebration. Especially the colors and the unusual angle. |

Yes, suel, this is it! Colors, composition, everything.
Maybe I would photoshop out the line-like shadow above the bird and eventually crop the bottom. |

Welcome!
Definitely original idea. What about making an HDR? When having very dark and very light elements (like flame, or sunset), I usually make 3 (or more) identical pictures with measured apperture, +2 and -2. Then, there are several options to melt them together. |

Good animal portrait! I like Charles' post processing, I also missed some more contrast, or more "structure".
Having a bird-feeder, I am sure we wil se more wildlife photos from you. |

Wonderful! It looks like "thumbs down", while the photo deserves thumbs up. |

I have never eaten :)
You have chosen a not too easy task. Only slightly differing from a b&w and having not unusual lights it is a challenge - actually well solved. I would have tried to put a small object (black?) to disrupt the monotone mood. Or change the lighting, or maybe turn into b&w ? |

Thanks Charles, a lot to learn from your comments! The black background is offered by black glass I bought for this reason. I have a white one either, I will try it out too. |

Unique mode of view, Anu, which is more important than any technical excel! I never would have the currage to cut a part of the pan but I admit it looks good. I like Charles' postprocessing, especially handling the blown out parts. The picture is slightly inclined to the left. Unless it is intentionally done so, I would straighten it. |
