I spent almost 7 months cleaning up a friends home after he had to move into assisted care. I can't tell you how many scenes like this and worse were all over the place. Really. It can be very depressing to have "messes" surrounding you and some people live with that all of the time. Your image worked for me to remind me and to also alert me to the fact that I don't want so much disorder ever in my life. The side lighting works very well for this image and, in fact, even with the mess the complimentary effects of the soft blue and the tan are wonderful. |

The colors are wonderful and the images works well for the topic. Nice soft colors that are extremely pleasing to the eye. Good seeing. |

Wow. A simple image that has so many different approaches. Makes it fun. I like Barbara's crop and presentation. The subject is right on for the topic.....At the very least, you inspired others to play with the image. At the most, you found exactly a perfect subject for this month. |

I think all of the ideas presented and your image itself ....have been successful in creating a strong interest and dialogue. I'm looking at it from a slightly different perspective.....I wish the image wasn't so centered in the presentation. I think Barbara's crop makes it a little stronger. |

The red and green and subject make a great triangle and I think that is why it works for my eye. The red is strong, but, not out of place and maybe just a bit of what it might have been. Lots of good lines and angles in this image. |

I love the image....cords and color and the whole idea. Times have changed.....way too fast in some ways. Good image for this month. I'm amazed at the number of cords that have accumulated in my garage.....they are all going "out of here". Too much junk. |

OK....I'm not a "guy" and this strikes me as an image that most men understand. It is well done and I really like the monochrome presentation. |

This is a nice and different crop for a lovely rose. The saturation is perfect and the color is wonderful. Good seeing. |

I agree that this image has a vintage look and feel. Great when you can capture "feelings". Not an easy task. The steam gives the image the look and it works well for me. Good job.

One of my favorite places to shoot.....I've visited the spot a couple of times. I like your image and enjoy the beautiful colors. Hard to capture but worth it. One thing I noticed and that is that the blue flower is a bit lost because it is very dark. I played with it in photoshop and RAW and opened up the shadows a bit. |

Always a delightful image from you. I am recovering from a 16 hour travel day so just peaking at the site and your image definitely feels good. So tranquil and refreshing. I love that it includes the horse. |
