Good for you for experimenting and continuing to "get it". |

It is a good shot of someone who is totally into the reading that is going on. Also, it is a nice portrait for any occasion. The lightning is nice and projects a pleasant "mood" to the image. |

I agree that while the idea is a good one, there are a few things that could have been done better in this image. The main "kiss" is not really sharp and it feels like maybe you shot it a little too close for the lens requirements. And, the background doesn't help the image by it brightness. It tends to dominate and that isn't what you were after. |

A good idea. My only critique is the look on their faces. She doesn't look totally into whatever it is that is going on. If its love, I'd like to see some joy and if its lust there must be a good look for that. However, I'm not being too picky.....because overall it fits the requirement for the month. A difficult topic unless you prepared for it well in advance....to capture a moment of "love". |

Love is in the "play". You captured it and it is a keeper. I also wish they were closer together, but, in snapshots, we can't have it all. Grabbing it is what most of us need to remember.....fine tune later, if you can. But, at least - don't miss the moment. You got it. |

I got so busy meditating that I left without making a comment. Just browsing through once again, I noticed I hadn't posted. I like the quietness of your image and enjoy just looking around to see what is presented in the image. It is peaceful and that works for me. |

Wow. An extremely attractive temple with very intricate finishings.
I really like the image. Glad you are here with us. The lack of leaves really does help....also, you wouldn't need the colors either. This is almost a black and white image - in color. Things works well together in the image. |

Dick, I always love your work. You know that lead in will be a little bit of a critique. The image doesn't quite work for me. I am having trouble seeing the window as a "picture on a wall". It seems to blend in too well and looks flat to me. Now, I'm being "picky" but, also trying my best to explain what my issue is. I don't know how it could be different. I wish there were a window frame or something which set it off better..... |

I'm not one to critique portraits or model shots because I almost never do them and I don't know what to do to make them excellent. As a "viewer", I really like looking at this image. I don't know about the lights in the eyes, and the corner of the eyes etc. I just think she looks good , and in black and white for a women, that is a big compliment. Most of us would say we do not like to be photographed in b&w, but, again, she is a cute young thing. I passed that some time ago. So, for me, this image works rather well. |

I agree with Dick. This is a beautiful capture of the interior of this church. The lighting is excellent and the detail shows very well. It was hand held, but, you did a great job getting it. |
