12 Jan 17 Comment I love it. A great reflection. A unique reflection. You nailed it. Jan 7th
12 Jan 17 Comment Somehow, the image doesn't seem to click with my senses. Perhaps it is because of the "reflected size and absolute sameness". I'm going to take a look at that video and see what I can learn. But, good for you for experimenting and trying different approaches. Jan 7th
12 Jan 17 Comment Well, I also prefer the original. But, I still thought it was a reflection of the larger balloon. I played with it in photoshop....using a more recent version and opened the shadows some and put a little more constrast in the "reflected" balloon. Jan 7th
12 Jan 17 Comment The lighting is perfect....the time of day and the colors are beautiful. My critique agrees totally with Carole. Waiting a bit for the group to be in a better position would have been a good idea. It is always so easy afterwards to decide what would have been better. I have hundreds of those. Jan 7th
12 Jan 17 Comment Wow.....I thought I knew a lot about photoshop but I have no idea what the deferral matrix is. I also admit that I like Kerstin's reflection more because the distorted reflection was too squared and looked manufactured. Jan 7th
12 Jan 17 Comment The brown area to the left is critical to the image....because my friend Bob was interred in Japan for almost 4 years as a slave laborer while he was a POW in WW2. The door has some images which show the effects of the war. One is a newspaper with the Atom bond headline and another is a very thin, starving, man and another just above him who doesn't show as well. Their images document what happened to the POW's in Japan during WW2. We were at the memorial and I found this door that reflected both of us and some of the items which made the memorial significant to our visit. Jan 7th

17 Jan 17 Comment A perfect capture....the eye is so sharp. The entire image is clear and totally in focus....you nailed it. I also like the fact that the background is blurred out .... it makes the perfect frame for the bird. Jan 7th
17 Jan 17 Comment Love this image. I like the color version because it blends in better. The viewer has to "think" about it for a minute or so. And, I like the suggestion for the ghost in front of the door. You have a winner here......thank you for sharing it. Jan 7th
17 Jan 17 Comment Glen, I like your image a lot. It is a beautiful scene and you captured it. I'm still concerned about your signature. It is way too large for these presentations and becomes too much a part of the image. My opinion isn't worth a hill of beans, but, since we do this to share, I'm offering it. The Oxbow Bend image is lovely and well balanced. Jan 3rd
17 Jan 17 Comment You captured the city of Vegas perfectly in that it is a crazy place of lights and activity and it screams color and lots of use of "energy", the electrical kind as well as the movement. Happy New Year. Jan 3rd
17 Jan 17 Comment Your efforts to make the image with a ghost is pretty effective. At first glance, I thought it was creepy. After all, that is what I imagine you were looking for as a response. We don't see ghosts every day and I was surprised by yours. Having fun with images is great. The setting is perfect. I wonder how the ghost would look if he were in color? Jan 3rd
17 Jan 17 Comment I like your image of this cathedral and I also like the angle of it. I found I couldn't resist the urge to try and open up the shadows a bit.
I think I like the way it show more detail in that area. I think it is a very good travel shop and enjoyed viewing it.
