It's a beautiful image. The background color compliments the beauty of the flower. However, both the background and forground is a liitle overexposed. Therefore part of the flower is washed out. |

Your setting seems quite right. However, the flowers are surprisingly not in focus or you want to make them look soft. It's good to learn that Nikon macro 200mm has shallow depth of field. |

Your image is not sharp likely because your lens is wide open at F/5.6. Your camera setting is quite confusing to me with a shutter speed at 1/4000 sec and ISO at 2000. When I take picture of a flying jet at a Blue Angels air show, I usually set a shutter speed at 1/2000 sec. Your speed was twice as fast as mine. Definitely, at this speed, there was not enough light for your frog. Did you correct this problem by setting ISO at 2000? In addition, I suggest you move your subject further to the right of the frame. This would improve the image composition. |
