Hi Lance and Happy New Year to you as well. Thank you for your comments and glad you found the image calming. Sometimes I intentionally leave a portion of the background less focused to provide depth and context, but I may have been a little overzealous with this particular image. |

I agree that the tone looks somewhat muddy |

The torn paper is fine, although im my opinion there's too much white around the torn paper. I think it competes with the eagle. Glad you added more detail to the head - it's a good capture. |

I don't mind the image being off the right a bit as I think it balances the the shadows on the left on the walkway. As for the line in the sky, it's amazing to me that it's a sand dune. The only thing I would suggest is perhaps making the delineation between the sky and dune more pronounced. |

This is a nice capture in both color and monochrome, although I do think monochrome brings out details that may be overlooked in the color version. One can't help but wonder who lived here, and what happened to the home so thank you for providing the history. The choice in Silver Effects Pro was a good one. |

To me, the monochrome image has more strength and definition than the color version. It's graphic and has a nice tonal range. In my opinion, Kym's version above helps my eye to focus on the wonderful triangles you've captured. |

Interesting image. I do like the shadows created here and I think placing the forks against a corner was a clever idea. I don't mind the highlights at the bottom of the forks, but I do agree adding contrast helps to define the shadows. |

I too like the strong graphic nature of this image. The angles, lines and colors pull me in and hold my attention - there's so much to explore in this image. Saturating the orange just enough brings the image to life and provides depth. So well done. |

Hi Karl. The forks do look like they're emerging from the dark sand and I agree they project a sinister look. I don't mind the darkness in the bottom tines because in my opinion, it makes clear the story of them coming up from the sand. Have you tried a more silver tone to the image? |

Lauren, this is such a cool image. It reminds me of a snow globe. The rainbow effect give the bubble just the right amount of pop (pardon the pun.). I might be tempted to bring down the brightness on the lower left a little to keep focus on the snow inside the bubble. I have to agree with Karl that trying this indoors isn't a viable option - I've tried. Florida doesn't lend itself to this type of photography.
Nice image!

Hi Judith. This is such an interesting abstract image. The placement of your subject (a "swan" to me as well) is nicely done, and how you incorporated it into the background really gives it a 3 dimensional feel. The leaves on the left being in the foreground and those on the right blurred into the background is so well done. Love the softness of the colors too. Beautiful image. |

The stem is a bit thin, and is thin in reality. The flower is tiny - no more than an inch high and is being held up with a flexible arm and clip. |

Hi Fran. This was a case of self love. I've wanted the system for over two years so every payday I added to my "lighting" fund. I'm enjoying the results of the lights, particularly the led which helps bring out the translucent look. |
