Red River paper is great quality and they sell different sample packs. Good paper makes a world of difference in my prints. |

Nice capture. I like the monochrome image as it gives Mt. Rainier more of a presence. Following Diana's suggestions to enhance the clouds would help to bring them out more prominently. |

It can be annoying not to have a long lens when you want to capture nature in action, especially birds. Still, this image shows a clear and focused eye, and the wing hanging down shows focused feathers. I like the thick little leg standing on the post. Nice image - enjoy them. |

Your choice in monochrome for this image is a good one. I think the color image doesn't portray the sense of decay that the monochrome does. I agree with Diana that the light portions of the metal grate behind the sofa could be darkened a bit - the brightness brings my eye to them. They look too straight and clean to be part of this dilapidated story. Imagine sitting on this couch on a hot and steamy August afternoon in Louisiana... |

This image reminds me of a forest that could be in one of The Brothers Grimm fairy tales. I like the ethereal feel and the depth brought out by the trees fading in the back. The whites are a little too bright, but if you choose to darken the trees it would need a very slight hand to keep the fantasy feel. As Tom mentions, I too would clone out the writing on the trees.
The horse helps to make the image stand out. It indeed may be wondering why it's been left there, or on the flip side it may be curious as to why you're there. Nice image. |

I used my Nikon 105mm macro lens for the shot. The leaf is on a light box with some overhead lighting to eliminate the shadows. The backlight was needed so the leaf didn't look flat. A lot of people use Zerene Stacker for post processing image stacking, but it's pricey for a plug-in that has only one function. I use photoshop which does the work for me. |

I must break from the group here and say I'm not a fan of the slanted street even before I knew it was flat. It looks odd to me but I can't say why. The contrast in the sky seems a bit too much as well, although I know you like it. The building itself is amazing and how you've managed the geometric correction is so well done. I agree the building on the left needs to go. Good luck with this! |

I like your version. Yes - the image reminds me of a dragon tail or large reptile tail too. The spores are oddly shaped which tells me they're maturing and more allergic sneezing awaits |
