Hi Priscilla: Nice close in rendition of your "kitty". The image quality of cell phones seems to be increasing with each new generation that is introduced, and this pictures bears that out. Engaging picture !! |

Hi Pat: This picture has a lot of impact when it appears on the monitor. Really effective lighting that shows the shadow detail in the flower petals, and then the border color ties it all together. Composition is very subjective, however to me the dead centered composition works well in this specific situation. Nice Work !! |

Hi Paul: Very sharp detail on the head and many eyes of the spider. Agree with Neil the image could be cropped from the top and right to enlarge it in the frame; then as Richard has mentioned the diagonal light green blade of grass or what ever needs to be darkened as it detracts from the spider. Good interesting subject. |

Hi Neil: Good subject well placed in the frame, very sharp detail on the subject; the wing structure is very well presented. In my humble opinion the light green out of focus background leaves are very light and need to be toned down so they does not compete with the Damselfly for attention. An interesting aspect is the leaf structure in the shadow under the Damselfly shows up very well and creates another point of interest. |

Hi Richard: The Passion flower has a lot of initial "POP" when it comes up on the monitor, the yellow central part of the flower is supported well by the slightly out of focus purple background. The darker yellow stamens are very sharp and provide a strong center of interest; also the stamen grouping is slightly biased to the right works well from a composition standpoint. Good Work !! |
