Hi Priscilla: Over the years you have mastered window lighting very well, your pictures are always lit very evenly and always have great colors without any harsh shadows. You found just the right shade of pink background so it blends perfectly with the pink flower. Very sharp detail on the petals and also on the interesting prop you used. Nice Work!! |

Hi Pat: The red strawberry against the black background has a lot of impact. I concur with Priscilla some kind of a complimentary border would add that final "touch" to this picture. |

Hi Neal: Fine capture of this type of fly. I like the positioning of the insects body on a slight diagonal upward. Even shooting at f/16 you could never get that back wing in sharp focus as it is too far in back of the other two wings, anyway it does not bother me.
The eye is the most important part and it is sharp as a tack along with the interesting legs. In my humble opinion I would darken the light grasses in the background, it would raise this picture from being just good to excellent if those bright grasses in the BG were toned down. It would take a little processing work but would be worth it to me. |

Hi Rosangela: Good seeing eye just to spot this animal face in the tree trunk, many photographers would have walked right past this without recognizing the face. Boosting the saturation and contrast and adding some light did wonders for the picture.
Very interesting !! |
