63 Sep 18 Comment Hi Priscilla: Good seeing eye to spot this artistic arrangement and photograph it well. Good sharpness as all of the hairs seem in focus. From a composition standpoint I am glad you did not allow the top seed head to emerge from the very corner of the frame, something to avoid which you did.
Nice Work !!

63 Sep 18 Comment Hi Pat: A very good example of selective focus well executed to the fullest extent. The soft lighting and muted colors are ideal for your selective focus presentation. The brown background compliments the soft pink very well, also the flower placement within the frame works very well. Excellent work !! Sep 7th
63 Sep 18 Comment Hi Tom: A good example of selective focus with pleasant color harmony. Your zone of focus is pretty well in the middle of the picture area and all else recedes out of focus. As Pat has mentioned the light to dark in the background does distract somewhat, I would have tried to remove the brown area to the bottom right if this was even possible so your background was all light colored. Smooth backgrounds without distractions are a very important part of a picture. Sep 7th
63 Sep 18 Comment Hi Neal: a very nature oriented photo, it tells a nature story very well. Good composition with the subject biased slightly to the right side of the frame, also sharp details as you can see every hair on the legs. If I had a nit it would be the light background, you may be able to darken it down somewhat. Good capture overall. Sep 7th
63 Sep 18 Comment Hi Rosangela: I am drawn to this picture by the warm inviting color tones. I like the textured base used to display the mushroom, textured at the bottom of the frame and then recedes out of focus in the distance. Good use of subject; from a composition standpoint this picture would work very well reversed with the mushroom stem originating from the left. It would look very natural this way as we read from left to right, give it a try and see what you think. Good creative work. Sep 7th
