Hi Priscilla: A very pleasant flower picture. The central part of the flower is well placed, near a 1/3 power point area. Very sharp detail, and then the muted lighting condition results in a nice soft mood that fits this subject well. The added plant material in the upper left corner adds a nice point of interest, also the subdued light violet background goes very well with the pink flower. |

Hi Khai: Very well done leaf abstract pattern picture. The central part of the picture has very sharp detail and texture and exposure. This is a very small "nit"; the two sides and the top have some small open areas where you can see the ground, in my opinion I would crop in just enough to eliminate this so you had just leaves and no open areas at the edges of the frame. It would raise this picture from being very good to excellent. Just my 2 cents of course. |

Hi Lisa: This image is simply done to perfection in every way possible; all technical aspects, perfect composition with the frog near a 1/3 power point, dramatic lighting, very sharp, very strong dramatic colors against a black background gives tremendous impact. A winner !! KUDOS. |

Hi Charles: A very fine close in portrait image of a yellow flower. The central part is very sharp and your post processing to soften the outer edges worked very well, the pictures has a pleasant 'feel' to it. The structural detail of the inner flower is very interesting, Mother Nature does create some interesting designs and patterns. All technical 'stuff' done very well. I do like the central part of the flower positioned near the bottom of the frame, as it gives the subject a good base. The centered composition works very well here, the rule of thirds would not fit very well. |
