Hi Priscilla: The picture does not seem quite tack sharp, however I am amazed you were able to get it this sharp hand holding and using 1/15 second exposure with no tripod. Also you have very little noise considering you were shooting at ISO 6400. Like the way you have composed the picture with the placement of the hands within the frame, quite artistically done. An interesting picture. |

Hi Karen: I like the arrangement of the coins, seems very artistically done. I like your idea and the picture is just fine as you have presented it. To me the picture seems a little flat lit gray toned, I would experiment more in post processing using your Nik filters and try adding a little more contrast to create a little more of a Hi-Key black and white. I like your bold white border. Good work. |

Hi Charles: Each photographer has their own idea of what a good abstract picture should be. In my opinion a good abstract picture needs some form of recognizable composition or design, just a myriad of colors going every direction in the frame to me is lacking substance. You have very pleasing colors in this picture, I would crop in from the left somewhat and a little off the top; basically tighten up the composition so the viewers interest is concentrated on the tulip petal designs in the middle of the frame. |
