63 Jan 17 Comment Hi Jack: The colors are certainly warm toned south west type colors for sure, not the greens, blues, and grays of the Pacific Northwest. Nice blending of colors with the vertical line just slightly off center. The picture works for me; if you wanted you could even crop in a little closer and feature the embossed looking brown band as a center of interest. I too like strong graphical images. Jan 10th
63 Jan 17 Comment Hi Karen: I like your original the best, it just seems to float in space and is very smooth appearing. On the original image I would clone out the two red reflections in the crystal globe, then in my humble opinion you have a very nice abstract image. I do not think the metal texture adds anything, perhaps even a bit distracting. A great creative idea !! Jan 9th
63 Jan 17 Comment Hi Charles: Am pretty sure this flower is an Anthurium, not a Cala Lily. They are available in various colors and we have several in our home. I like the original, the large picture that is shown. The pink flower is very sharp front to back; the out of focus dark green leaves in the background add a nice back drop for the pink flower. First rate technical quality and nicely composed. Good work !! Jan 9th
63 Jan 17 Comment Hi Priscilla: A very pleasant floral picture well thought out in all aspects. The white rose is dead centered in the frame, but it works very well in this picture. This is just a good example where the rule of thirds does not work in every situation. Color harmonies work well together with the dark green foliage, red berries, dark gray vase and white flower. Like the way you have lit the arrangement with the greenery at the top a little darker, it kind of recedes into the dark background. The small metal springs add an interesting side point, also the natural window lighting and black fabric backdrop works very well. The cropping of the image looks good to me, and the white border separates the picture area from the black website interface. Good work! Jan 8th
