Hi Priscilla, I would consider this a close up of the peacock's feathers. I love the colors and contrast in the feathers. I agree with Patrick if you cropped the image a bit to remove the orange in the lower right corner it would enhance the image. Very interesting shot. I'm impressed you managed to get that close to the peacock. |

Hi Patrick, the use of the led flash creates an interesting effect on lighting the center of the Disbud especially with the outer portion of the flower bud dimming. You did a nice job with this image. |

Hi Murphy, I like the interest of the top of the fence post. The lighting on the subject is nice and enhance the colors. I love the tones and the circles running through the top of the post. You did a nice job. |

Hi Khai, You did a nice job with the layer mask to make the flowers pop. I agree with Rosangela that perhaps another angle would have eliminated the brown flower in the center..it does tend to draw one's eye away from the sharp petals. Nice shot. |

Lisa, I love your clever title for this shot. The texture in the wood behind the "Tooth Puller" and the texture of the rust on the tool enhance the shot. Your lighting and choice of processing make this photo pop. |

Rosangela, the texture and colors of the bark make this image very interesting. I like that you took the shot on an angle. The lines of the bark help move one's eyes through the frame. |

Hi Stephen, the statue is 3/4 inches tall, 3/4 wide at the base and only 1/4 wide at the top. It was shot with a 50mm macro lens at approximately 2-3 inches from the statue. I consider it a macro or close-up given I've taken photos of bees larger than this statue and at the same distance. |
