Hi Priscilla, I like your "Pink Tulip" shot. the window lighting and flashlight create interesting lighting which I think works well for the angle you shot from. I personally like the tulip going from the bottom right to left corner in this image better than from left to right. I do like Patrick's suggestion of removing the leaf so the main point of interest is the tulip head. Nice shot. |

Hi Patrick, your image "Lilly in the Pond" is well done. I like the placment of the lily and the leaves surrounding it. I think Lisa's first image above really adds something to your original shot. Something to think about since it really makes the lily pop. |

Hi Murphy, I love your image, "Door Latch". I think your placement of the knocker. I agree with Lisa I think I would like to see all or nothing of the bolt in the bottom right corner. Otherwise, I like everything about this image. I like the effect of the posterize filter to bring out the colors. Nice image. |

Hi Khai, Your "Red Vein Indian Mallow" shot is very interesting. I've never seen one of these plants before. I'm intrigured by the veins's on the buds. I like the image as shot and would love to see an extreme macro fo the veins on the bud. The lighting is excellent.

Hi Lisa, I love this "Hanging Out" shot. Your settings are perfect providing a very sharp image of the underneath of the frog. I like the angle. The lighting is excellent and presents a great contrast between the browns on the frog and the green in the background. Nice shot. |

Lisa, thanks for the suggestion of flipping the image and making it on a slight angle. I also like what you did to darken the image. The colors really pop. Thanks. |

Hi Rosangela,
Welcome to the Group 63. I really like your iPhone capture. Your comments that the flower appeared to want to fly from the pot is fitting. The stamen and bud do take on a "swan" like quality. I like the original image but think due to my eyes wanting to go from left to right across the page that Lisa's turned image works a little better at holding my focus on the page. Excellent capture. |
