Hi Priscilla. This is an interesting shot. When I first looked at it I thought I was looking at a microorganism under a microscope. The design and texture of the peeling paint/rust creates an amoeba like image. I think you've managed to take a macro shot of the mundane and create a very interesting image that leaves one questioning, "What is it?" Nice job. |

Hi Murphy, your shots are always inspiring and your "Fuchsia Buds" does not disappoint. The blurred background makes the buds colorful buds pop. Your camera settings, time of day you shot and reflector use all add up to another stunning photograph. |

Khia, Your American Goldfinch image is well done. Your choice of aperture created a nice focus on the Goldfinch while blurring the background nicely. The Goldfinches in my yard like to eat the seed I have out for them but they will not cooperate for a photo shoot. |

Lisa, I like your stacked frog image. The image is quite sharp. I like how his body and the leaf he's sitting on jump out from the black background. I do not see much to improve with this image. |

Priscilla, thank you. I like your cropped version better. The top portion does take away from the detail at the bottom of the image. |

Hi Charles. I like your "Root Canal" image. The vine, with its tentacles running through the frame adds much interest. I like how the texture of the tentacles runs into the the texture of the bark on the stump. This is an interesting macro shot. |
