Charles, the CamRanger is a very neat tool. Lisa, the setup is quite easy. The only downside I see so far is you really need to pay attention when using it because the settings are easy to change. I was doing some real estate shots and didn't realize I had accidentally changed the capture mode from RAW to JPEG. |

Priscilla, this is a nice image of the wired copper balls. It would be a perfect image for a jigsaw puzzle. The texture and detail based on the settings you used are excellent. Very nice shot. |

Pat, I like your tool shot taken of the spoke/bike wheel. I do think I like Khai's tighter cropping of the image. I'm not sure the background adds much to the tool shot itself. However, the wider image does give detail to know it's a bike spoke versus the cropped image. I think the detail is quite good of the tool. Nice image. I like seeing your ongoing tool shots. |

Charles, I apologize for being late in my comments. I think you've done an excellent job of focus stacking. I agree with Priscilla that it would be nice to see the bottom of the stamina but otherwise the image is tack sharp. I love the detail and the colors. Nice photo. |

Hi, Murphy I know you've mentioned adding extra canvas before. Is that a simple process in Photoshop? |

Murphy, the crayon box is not a very creative shot but I thought it would be a good specimen to work with the CamRanger on taking multiple shots to focus stack. The focusing control with the CamRanger provided total control and no camera vibration since you use the controls on the iPad vs the camera. |

Lisa, Your creativity continues to astound me. This is a well done through processing creation. I love the final image you created of the fungal flower. The detail in the original image is enhanced in the final image due to the manipulating and duplications. It reminds me of a section from some Victorian wallpaper or a hand illustration from a Victorian book on botany. Really nice macro creation. |

Khai, I love the layer mask technique you used to separate the Yellow rose from the background. Darkening the background does make the flower stand out more. I wonder if it would stand out more using the blur filter too? Just a suggestion. Your camera settings yielded a very focused center. I love the added interest of the water droplets. Nice capture. |

Murphy, I love your Pink and Yellow flowers. As you stated the colors do blend well with the soft out of focus green background. Your use of the Photoflex Soft Gold reflector worked well to illuminate the flowers. My only suggestion and it's very minor is I would have moved the camera down just a bit to leave just a little breathing room between the border and the pink point of the bottom flower. Just a minor move but really the image is wonderful as captured. |
