Wow, Lisa I can tell you are going to teach us a lot in this group. I'm amazed at the multitude of options you have presented from Charles image. I have to say I personally am quite intrigues with the last image. Charles I think Lisa's version is a wonderful abstract that has form as Murphy mentions and turns your not so favorite photo into a grand slam. Again, that's my personal opinion but it's really quite an intriguing image. |

Thank you everyone for the suggestions with my image. I have not had time to play around with Hi-Key or selectively darkening to point to one coin but I will certainly use the suggestions and try them. |

Hi Murphy, I'm always enamored with ice and light and the various shots you can get when photographing it. The lines in the ice create a sense of motion that keeps my eye moving through the image. I like your post processing of the image but also find the ones that Lisa added to be very interesting too. Of the two that she submitted I like the first one better as the flipped version leaves me with a sense of something falling...just my opinion. Nice shot. |

Hi Priscilla,
Your hand shot of the Henna is really interesting. I like Lisa's version she posted with the photo flipped so the hands go from left to right. While I know we read that direction I'm not sure if I would have thought to do that myself; I think it does enhance the image. I like the overall composition of the image. The red on the sleeve adds a splash to color to the image which I thinks adds to the composition. |
