Hi Jennifer,
Thank you for explaining how you approached this and sharing the foundation images. I found your explanation helpful in understanding the post-processing. |

Wow! This color combo is lovely and striking. I find the background textures beautifully delicate and soft. For me, the diagonal placement of the flower makes the image dynamic. Thank you for sharing this beauty. |

I agree these are lovely orchid details that add interest for me. The vignetting draws me into the frame and helps me focus on the orchid's interesting petals.
I'm wondering what the brown area is at the lower part of the frame. Is it soil or the perhaps tree bark? |

I agree this is a lovely color that catches my attention and the magenta and green combo are so pleasing to me. The composition enhance this image for me and to my eye the cropping is well balanced.
Was this possibly taken in bright sunlight? I can't help butI wonder if the bright front facing light and possibly increased contrast in post processing may have contributed to reducing the appearance of texture. |

To my eye this is a beautiful high key flower portrait. I find the soft pastels of the tulip and the foliage to be calming and delicate. Thad for sharing this one. |

This image conveys the feel of a calming breeze on a warm summer morning for me. The selective focus on the one bloom is pleasing to my eye and the painterly effect of the background feels soothing. I think this is beautiful.
I'm interested in learning more about how you registered the background. Thanks, in advance, for any information. |
