To my eye, this is an interesting image and he composition with the cluster of flowers is very pleasing.

A few light spots in the background pull my eye away from the beautiful blooms.

Wow, well spotted! Is this an emblem on a Stingray from the late 50's-early sixties? I find the contrasting colors to be eye-catching and the details interesting.

Is that possibly your reflection in the lower portion the the emblem's metal boarder?		 Jan 16th

To my eye the exposure and lighting of the seed pod is spot on and pleasing. I, too, find the details interesting and can imagine a face emerging within the seed pod. The softness of the background provides a lovely contrast to the subject for me.

I find the details of this Water Lilly so interesting and the focus is tack sharp! I know how challenging it is to work around the background elements of a Lilly pond, with its reflections and refractions. I agree that the star of the image is the beautiful flower.
