Hi Jim,
My Zinnias are almost done but still attracting bees, hummers, and butterflies. The one in your image suggests a mature bloom to me. I find the details and various textures interesting and beautiful. Thanks for sharing this one! |

Hi Ruth,
This is such an interesting image to me. I agree that it conveys more about the action of the bander than the beauty of the Saw Whet owl, however that reinforces the narrative value for me.
I do like the emphasis on the eyes of the owl that Tom illustrated in his version. |

Hi Robert,
My eyes are drawn to the leaves in this image and their placement in the frame adds interest.
Would you share information about your camera specs? Thanks. |

Hi Sharon, To my eye, this image reveals the lovely delicacy of a Rose of Sharon bloom. I agree, the color is lovely.
I appreciate soft-focus, dreamy flower images, although in our photo club judges seem to gravitate toward images that are registered with a greater DOF. |

Hi Bev, I'm thinking the blooms are those of Begonias? The vibrancy of the pink flowers against the lush green background of the leaves are so pleasing. Thanks for sharing this one! |
