6 Oct 25 Comment Hi Jim,
My Zinnias are almost done but still attracting bees, hummers, and butterflies. The one in your image suggests a mature bloom to me. I find the details and various textures interesting and beautiful. Thanks for sharing this one!

6 Oct 25 Comment Hi Ruth,
This is such an interesting image to me. I agree that it conveys more about the action of the bander than the beauty of the Saw Whet owl, however that reinforces the narrative value for me.

I do like the emphasis on the eyes of the owl that Tom illustrated in his version.

6 Oct 25 Comment Hi Robert,

My eyes are drawn to the leaves in this image and their placement in the frame adds interest.

Would you share information about your camera specs? Thanks.

6 Oct 25 Comment Hi Sharon, To my eye, this image reveals the lovely delicacy of a Rose of Sharon bloom. I agree, the color is lovely.

I appreciate soft-focus, dreamy flower images, although in our photo club judges seem to gravitate toward images that are registered with a greater DOF.
