Hi Jim,
The idea of this image appeals to me and I think it has a creative feel. The cup has an interesting shape and I enjoy seeing its dimensions revealed.
Thanks for sharing this one, as it brings back found memories of our visit to Istanbul many years ago! |

Hi Ruth,
The details in monochrome appeal to me and the tonality of the image appears well balanced to my eye.
I'd be curious to see more details in the center, but agree with Lori that the DoF is very good. |

Hi Robert,
The vibrant color of the trio of leaves really pop for me against the gray background. I'm curious to learn if you arranged the leaves or if this was a found 'still life'. Thanks. |

Sharon,
The sunflower festival must have been amazing.
The delicate petal and seed details are so interesting and beautiful to me.
Getting a peek at the flower's dark center in the upper left of the image provided me with helpful context to recognize the sunflower. I only wish that this section of the image was more visible.

Hi Bev,
You must have a great eye to spot this vibrant beauty!
I like the darkened background as it increase the contrast in the image and the composition of the cropped version works to emphasize the bloom for me. |

Hi Robert, Thank you for sharing your approach to creating this creative image. The information is helpful and interesting. To my eye the softness in this image is very appealing and the light subject on the dark background suggests a sense of drama to me. |

Hi John,
The two dahlias pop against the background for me and Donald's modification to decrease the background brightness seems to enhance it.
The one competing dark colored bloom directly below the dahlia on the left are a bit distracting, but the bright pink blooms are so lovely to me. |

Hi Doonald,
The details and textures in this abstract capture my attention and I find them to be beautiful. The rain drops make me think of little jewels.
Thanks for sharing the post-processing information, too! |
