6 Dec 24 Comment Hi Lori, what a delightful image with beautiful lighting and tack sharp focus. I can't stop smiling thinking about muppets and pencil toppers from childhood. Bravo on this beauty! Dec 11th
6 Dec 24 Comment Hi Karen, This is lovely and the holiday color combo enhances the image for me. I agree with Melissa's suggestion for cropping this wonderful image. Dec 11th
6 Dec 24 Comment What a fun find! Those dark eye sockets hold my attention, too. This is an unusual bead/ button and I think it conveys a spooky vibe. The shadow adds greater depth and a sense of mystery for me. Is the bead material bone? Dec 11th
6 Dec 24 Reply Thanks, Melissa. Yes, I definitely should have shot bursts, as I was working the camera while posing. Thank you! Dec 11th

24 Dec 24 Comment Hi John, welcome to the group! I've been admiring this beautiful mass shot. The blooms on the upper left to lower right diagonal attract my gaze. The focus on the yellow details throughout the imageappear tack sharp and draw my eye and the lighting on the unopened yellow buds adds interest for me.

I have been trying to identify the flower but haven't had any success. Do you possibly know? Thank you.

24 Dec 24 Comment Hi Donald, I like the glow of this beautiful tricolor vase and the delicacy of the red tipped carnation textures. I find the arrangement of the flowers pleasing and think it enhances the compositional structure of the image.

To my eye, the glowing vase is the star rather than the flowers.

I'm interested in learning about the light source(s) used and their placement to register this lovely image. Thanks!

24 Dec 24 Comment Hi Bev, Oh, the pink and green combo are a delight. The use of selective focus makes the flowers pop. Thanks for sharing this beauty. Dec 12th
