Hi Jim,
This is a great story telling shot and I appreciate the challenges in capturing the action! The effect of Lance Lewin's crop and post-processing balances the image and draws my attention to the horizontal plane. This seems to strengthen the connection of the hand and spinning wheel for me. I'm wondering if this is what you wanted? Also, I understand that the fiber artist needs to support and stabilize her hand by resting it, but it is not clear to me what the object is that she is using. |

Hi Ruth,
I love seeing these pincushion flowers and your capture is lovely to me! The beautiful focus on the center details of the main flower attracts my attention.
I agree that the evidence of the stems give the image a more natural feel, as this is how these blooms appear in nature. For me, the modifications Lance suggests further enhance the image. |

Tom, I think this capture this is well spotted and a great catch! It must have been great fun observing these bees gathering pollen.
I also like Jim's post processing modifications, but as Ruth mentions, I support slightly darkening the buds in the left of the frame. I'm not sure that the foliage on the far right adds to the image. |

Hi, Yvonne, Your image coveys a lovely spring feel. Blooming poppies are among my favorite flowers and the orientation of this one seems dynamic. I agree that darkening the background a bit would make the bloom pop. |

Frank, Bravo on your image in the member's showcase for your inspirational image! I loved seeing the expression of concentration and sheer determination on the face of the athlete that image coveys to me. The shadows of the wheelchair further enhance the image for me. I think you've capture a moment in action perfectly. Thank you! |

Hi, Fred,
Your macro of the green onion flower surprised me. I've been admiring its wonderful, delicate details. The orientation of the whole flowering surface appeals to me in the original because the green onion stalk is revealed. However, if the goal is to emphasize the single sprouting bud, then I would choose Frank's version. |
