I agree with Arun in that the tones you selected create a sense of drama and highlight the play of light across interesting architectural patterns in this image. Before reading your description and seeing the original, I did not understand that the blue rectangles represented panes of glass.	Dec 27th

14	Dec 17	Comment	To me this is an interesting image and I like the pop and sparkle in the subject's eyes. The details are tack sharp and the textures are beautifully captured, too! The slight vignetting and warmth that Larry suggest enhance the image to me. Thanks for sharing this one!	Dec 27th
14	Dec 17	Comment	Thank you for the holiday greetings. All the best to you and your family, too! Old doors are such fascinating subjects and I, too, can understand why this one was worth the effort to photograph. I think you did a great job fixing camera distortion. Although the presence of the branch may compete with the main subject, it adds realism, showing how the aging door withstands the passage of time. However, if you prefer to highlight the door itself then Larry's suggestions to darken the glass, clone out some of the branch, and crop away some of the bricks seem to work well by simplifying the image. 14	Dec 17	Comment	I find this to be a very creative capture. I understand that individuals skilled in deep meditative practice experience illusions of lights and this image suggests that to me. I do agree with Larry's suggestion to add a bit of brightness to the subject's face. To me this is a great example of painting with light. Thanks for sharing this interesting image.	Dec 27th
