Wow! What a great image. I love the textures, the facial and furry details, and the golden light that you've captured.
I agree that the bright background may draw the eye, but it also helped me understand why the cats were squinting. |

What a wonderful find! To me the contrasting textures, colors of the fungi, and clean composition make me want to linger on the image.
I think that Larry's suggestions are good ones because they strengthen the composition, correct the color cast, and balance the contrast/brightness.

What a great image! I love seeing the varied facial expression and it speaks volumes that each child's direction of gaze is unique.
For me a bit more 'head-room' would allow some more breathing, comfort room.
You have a wonderful eye. Thanks for sharing! |

The rich, warm golden tones are beautiful to me. The balance of light inside and outside is something that challenges me, but you have achieved it. Bravo!
The first set of slats of wood within the dark region at the bottom seems to weigh down the image for me, which detracts from the beautiful balance of light. I think that if cropped away and a slight vignetting were applied, my eye would be drawn toward the center detail. |

The repetition of triangles and clean lines are beautiful to me. I enjoy seeing the play of light and the contrasting textures of the tree branches and their reflections enhance this image for me. The colors are soothing to my eye and encourage me to imagine the brisk air of the arctic.
Personally, I like the interesting composition here, with the roof peak off center and the cropped form. |
